High Accuracy Determination of Azimuth of Baseline Used to Calibrate Ship's Heading Based on Astronomical Method

It is important to calibrate the heading parameter of navigation equipment and it has great influence on the sailing safety and the shipborne weapon system's ability of precision hitting.This paper briefly introduces the status and advantage of the celestial determination technology,mainly studies five directional methods based on astronomical,such as time method,height method,analytic method,random star method,etc.Each method contents with the precision of the baseline's azimuth.Integrating these five methods,we can accomplish the high accuracy determination at any latitude and with or without ephemeris.
