Research on the reliability of shore-to-submarine VLF reserving communication

The analyses of the reliability of shore-to-submarine VLF reserving communication is of great importance for the constitution of communication plans to command organs,up-to-now the study is still on theory.The paper analyses factors of influencing reserving communication reliability and provides the conception of single reliable communication probability.Then it applies probability theory to develop mathematical model according to different transmitting ways of VLF communication,quantizes the reliability of shore-to-submarine VLF commanding communication by reliable communication probability and simulates the results based on Matlab.At last it provides a method of selecting the set number of communication in VLF reserving communication.The results concluded are useful for further research on the analyses of shore-to-submarine VLF communication effectiveness and can provide reasonable scientific basis for constituting communication plans.
