Study on vibration performance of ship superstructure by finite element analysis

The vibration of superstructure is an important factor affecting the overall stability of ships, so effective analysis of it has important practical significance. In view of the inaccuracy of the previous software program based on empirical formulas to calculate the vibration frequency of superstructure, a finite element analysis method is proposed. The research on vibration performance of ship superstructure by using finite element analysis method is divided into two parts: firstly, selecting ship parameters and using Ansys software to build finite element model of superstructure; secondly, solving the model, calculating vibration frequency of ship superstructure, realizing vibration performance research, and comparing with the software program method based on empirical formula, the finite element analysis is obtained. The analytical method has higher accuracy and the results are closer to the true values.
