New development of psychological contract research

This paper reviews the new development of psychological contract research in China and abroad at five aspects as following: the emergence and development of psychological contract concept,the structure and development of psychological contract,the boundaries between psychological contract and other correlative concepts,the formation and fashions of psychological contract,the violation and consequence of psychological contract.Finally,the deficiencies of current research are pointed out.They are: lack of research on the psychological contract between organization and its managers,lack of systemically studying on contracting process,isolation from contract economics,and lack of study on the positive effects of fulfilment and on Chinese psychological contract.
