Immunological applications of phage display peptide library

LIU Xian-fei1,DING Jian-bing2,JIA Hai-ying2,WANG Hong-ying2*(1.the First Teaching Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University,Xinjiang Echinococcosis VIP Laboratory;2.Dept.of Immunology, Xinjiang Medical University,Urumqi 830011,China)
Phage display libraries of peptides has proven to be a powerful technology for selecting polypeptides with desired biological and physicochemical properties from huge molecular libraries.Fragments of foreign peptides or proteins are expressed as fusion proteins displayed on the phage surface, which keep their relatively independent spatial structure and biological activity. This technique has advantages and great potentials in many fields such as research of protein interaction and developments of antibodies, vaccine and drugs.
