Application of Iterative Learning Method in the Slide Position Control of Mechanical Press

Common problems consisting in the slide position control in the current mechanical press are discussed, and the feasibility of using the iterative learning method is analyzed. A new intelligent control system primarily composed of electric proportional valve, displacement transducer, data acquisition and process module is constructed. P mode iterative learning control with variable learning factor is adopted in this paper. With this method, the control precision is improved, and the regulating times are greatly reduced. It is worth applying and popularizing.
