Development on Virtual Roundness Error Measuring Instrument

The structures of virtual roundness error measuring instrument,the data acquisition circuit of single chip microcomputer and the PC data processing software were introduced.The data acquisition circuit utilizes an AT89C55 chip,a light-to-electricity coder,an inductance-triggered displacement sensor and an A/D convert chip CS5522 and can collect data automatically,then under the environment of Windows,VB6 is used to process the data.The measuring instrument integrates both the measuring technology of the form position error and the technology of virtual instrument,which can measure the roundness error,and display the roundness error graph directly on a screen.The system has high measuring precision and it is steady.
