ANSYS Finite Element Analysis on the Effects of Flow Force on Directional Control Valve

The effects of fluid power on the hydraulic system was discussed by analyzing fluid force generated as directional valve inverting.The finite element analysis model of the valve core was constructed with ANSYS.Based on the reliability analysis of the directional control valve by Monte-Carlo procedure,the stress probability distribution of this finite element analysis model and the sensitivity of the design parameters such as the pressure load to the stress distribution were obtained.From modal analysis based on ANSYS,the result is that the exciting frequencies generated as directional valve working are not equal to the natural frequencies.The result meets with the fact.It shows the reliability of using ANSYS for modal analysis.
