The Performance Simulation Study of the Hydrostatic Guideway of Precision CNC Lathe

The accuracy of precision machine tools will be reduced by the poor static performance of the hydrostatic guideway,and this effect for accuracy of each design parameter will be analyzed and considered within design stage to assure the accuracy requirement.The pressure formula of the pocket was derived based on the stress characteristics of the guideway and the hydrodynamics.Then the bearing capacity formula and stiffness formula were established based on restrictor characteristic equation and a simplified model was built.The influences of design parameters of the guideway and the restrictor on the static performance of the hydrostatic guideway were simulated by Matlab,the optimal design parameters values were gotten.
