Comparative analysis on the impact of the wind generator connected to the distribution network

This paper studies synchronous and asynchronous generator under Constant Speed Constant Frequency(CSCF) and Variable Speed Constant Frequency(VSCF) generation technologies and analyzes the impact of relevant parameters on the power grid when it is connected to the distribution network. Through the research on the wind generator,the model of wind speed,wind turbine and drive gear is established[1,2] and then wind generator model and power grid model are built based on MATLAB/Simulink. When the wind is in the process of changes,this paper simulates and observes the changes of the generator's input mechanical torque,rotor speed,stator voltage and current,output active power and reactive power. The results of different generation technologies are analyzed which provides the basis for the further study of parallel-in and control technology.
