Research on out-of-step oscillation criterion mechanism based on principle of phase angle

In this paper,the voltage,current and phase angle in the process of out-of-step based on the two-machine equivalent system are analyzed and calculated.Some rules,especially the phase angle’s changing rule in the process, are summed up.Take into account the actual operation,the criterion based on phase angle principle is further explored in order to be better used to equipments.A viewpoint that out-of-step splitting device should correctly distinguish out-of-step oscillation,synchronous oscillation and fault is put forward.Some start criteria are added in order to accelerate the start speed,to improve the phase angle criterion and make the criterion have advanced capability and universal applicability.
