Nursing of Neuroendoscopy-assisted Supraorbital Keyhole Approach in the Removal of Tuberculum Sellae Meningiomas

Objective To explore the nursing of neuroendoscopy-assisted supraorbital keyhole approach in the removal of tuberculum sellae meningiomas.Methods Clinical data of 7 cases were analyzed retrospectively,and all patients had the tuberculum sellae meningiomas removed by neuroendoscopy-assisted supraorbital keyhole approach.Results Tumors of 7 cases were totally removedThere was no incidence of leakage of cerebrospinal fluid and hypopituitarism.Postoperative visual outcomes of eyes showed improvement in 9 eyes,3 eyes remained steady,deterioration in 2 eyes.Diabetes insipidus occured in 2 patients,and controlled by effective nursing and treatment.Conclusions Careful nursing can decrease the postoperative complications in neuroendoscopy-assisted supraorbital keyhole approach in the removal of tuberculum sellae meningiomas,and promote the early recovery of the patients.
