Researches on Designing Adaptive Cartographic Visualization System

Traditional thinking of designing cartographic visualization system can not meet all requirements of the current development of cartographic visualization system. How to make cartographic visualization system used easily by every user becomes an important problem that should be considered by system designers. Adaptive cartographic visualization system brings an effective way to resolve the problem. In this paper, the authors expatiated the concept and background of adaptive cartographic visualization system, analyzed the research contents of adaptive cartographic visualization system, and took adaptive user interface as a center to discuss the essential thought and methods of designing an adaptive cartographic visualization system.
