The Improved Interpolation Method of Tropospheric Delay Based on ENGOS Model

The accuracy of topospheric delay value calculated by traditional inverse distance weighted(IDW) interpolation method is poor in the condition that there are large elevation differences between interpolated stations and the average elevation plane of overall known stations.So an IDW interpolation method based on EGNOS model was presented.This method uses the EGNOS model to complete projection and extension of topospheric delay value on the elevation direction.Compared to traditional interpolation method,the new method can avoid the spatial structure information due to the large elevation differences.An experiment was done with the tropospheric products of IGS and the results showed a significant improvement for the IDW interpolation method based on EGNOS model,relative to traditional IDW,especially for those stations whose elevation deviate from the average elevation plane significantly.
