Study on Protective Mechanism of JMS on Chemical Liver Injury

Aim To study the mechanism of JMS protective effects on experimental hepatic injury in mice.Methods Using models of hepatic injury induced by hepatoxicity CCl 4,D-GalN and AAP,together with the technique of TBA,DTNB,CHOD-PAP and IFCC,MDA,GSH-PX,TG and ALP were examined respectively.Results JMS could promote synthesis of hepatic glycogen and improve the level of serum protein.It also could significantly reduce the level of MDA and increase activity of GSH-PX in hepatic homogenate.The level of ALP and TG in serum of liver injured mice induced by AAP was also reduced greatly.Conclusions The mechanism of JMS protective effect on liver-injured mice should involve influencing liver metabolism,improving capability of anti-oxidation and increasing the function of detoxification.
