Further Studies on the Chemical Constituents of the Root of Angelica pubescens f.biserrata

Aim To study the chemical constituents of the root of Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata Shan et Yuan in China National GAP Base of Chinese Materia Medica for Angelica pubescens Maxim.f.biserrata in Hubei of China.Methods The chemical components were isolated by solvent extraction and column chromatography,and their chemical structures were identified on the basis of physic-chemical constant and spectral data.Results Eight compounds were isolated and identified as angenomalin(Ⅰ),angelol A(Ⅱ),daucosterol(β-sitosteryl 3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside,Ⅲ),marmesinin(Ⅳ),adenosine(V),3-O-trans-coumaroylquinic acid(Ⅵ),3-O-trans-feruloylquinic acid(Ⅶ) and sucrose(Ⅷ).Conclusion Compounds Ⅰ,Ⅵ and Ⅶ were isolated from the titled plant for the first time.
