Major Progress of U.S. 2005' High-Energy Laser Technology

The high-energy laser weapon technology has taken out the significant progress in 2005. The key test of the airborne laser, megawatt -class chemical oxygen iodine laser and the flight testing of BC/FC system are introduced. The significant progress of high power solid-state laser, fiber laser, super high efficiency diode source and relay mirror system are reviewed and discussed.
