Building of test system on axial deformation of diamond circular saw blade

A virtual instrument testing system with data acquisition,analysis and processing functions was established for online monitoring of the axial deformation of diamond circular saw blade by connecting displacement sensors,signal conditioning module,data acquisition card and other hardwares with the aid of graphical programming software NI LabVIEW. Then the experiment of the influences of sawing parameters on the axial displacement of blade in sawing granite was carried out with the testing system. The experimental results show that during sawing the axial displacement of the saw blade increases with the depth of cut as well as the feeding rate. However,the influence of the depth of cut on the axial displacement is greater than that of the feeding rate.
