DEVELOPMENT OF IMAGE ACQUISITION SYSTEM FOR RIVER SEDIMENT

According to the long measurement cycle of sediment concentration, tedious detection process, great labor intensity in hydrological sampling, and unfavorable continuous and real-time detection, we propose a measurement of sediment concentration based on the on-line technique for river sediment image acquisition. Because its first step is to acquire river sediment image, we develope the image acquisition device for river sediment, which allows the thin-layer of sediment flow through the surface of frosted glass and provides images suitable for image processing.
