Application of radioisotope~(14)C to geothermal analysis

The radioisotope14C,an irreplaceable dating tool in thermal analysis,has an half?life value of5?730±40 years.In the space of the discontinuity of the reservoirs in Tianjin geothermal field,this leads to the age difference of geothermal water.Based on the measuremeant of the age of14C,the paper analyses the migratory mechanism of deep geothermal water,which provides scientific basis for its further exploiting and utilization.
