A grating-set model method based on subwavelength grating theory for calculating the band structure of a two-dimensional photonic crystal

In this paper,a grating-set model method is presented according to the structural property of two-dimensional photonic crystal(PC).Thus the vector diffraction theory for subwavelength grating can be used to analyze the characteristics of the band structure.We study several typical kinds of two-dimensional PCs by using our method.
