Application of laser scanning technology and virtual reality technology in non-heritage protection

Traditional method is difficult to effectively protect the intangible cultural heritage. Therefore,this paper proposes the methods of laser scanning technology and virtual reality technology to protect the intangible heritage.First capture the intangible cultural heritage information by laser scanning technology. Then,register and denoise heritage point cloud data. Non-heritage point cloud data is mapped to the plane to obtain the corresponding two-dimensional coordinates. And establish plane triangle net by using Delaney method. Finally project the net to space to realize 3D modeling of non-heritage point cloud data. The experimental results show that this method is of high reliability and can effectively protect the intangible cultural heritage.
