Three Dimensional Visualization for CT Tomographic Image of Microscopic Flow Law of Rock Pore

Indicator Kriging Method is used to perform the segmentation on remaining oil and permeability images in microscopic CT tomographic images, by which pore and remaining oil distributions in 2D CT tomographic images are obtained. On the basis stated above, Marching Cube algorithm is deployed to conduct a 3D reconstruction of successive CT tomographic images, visualization is implemented on rock pores and remaining oil distribution at different stages of displacement. 2D segmentation images are contrasted with that of 3D reconstruction. The result shows that the limits of pores and fluid distribution only being reflected from a planer surface in 2D segmentation images can be avoided by 3D reconstruction images, therefore the changing rules of remaining -oil space distribution in displacement can be more directly, truly and accurately reflected.
