Predicting Effective Sandbody Distribution in Well Sulige 6 Area

A key problem for effective development of Sulige Gasfield is to predict the distribution of net sandstone precisely. Well Su6 in Sulige Gasfield is taken for an example. Through applying marked point process technique, 3D models of braided-channel and net sandstone are constructed by combining data of logs, outcrops, testing, etc. these models display distributions of braided-channel and net sandstone. The results can be used to present the complexity of the distribution of net sandstone in Well Su6 with a certain reliability and predictability, which lays a solid foundation for further arranging production wells and numerical simulation.
