Speeding up Urbanization and the Construction of the Ecosystem

CAO Xue -qin (Business School, ZJiengzhou University, Zhengzhou 450052, China)
Urbanization is a double - bladed sword for ecosystem. Urbanization, on one hand may affect or even destroy the original ecosystem and worsen the system of the natural and ecological environment. On the other, it may also create chances for improving and perfecting ecosystem. In the process of urbanization, great attention should be paid to the negative impact on the ecosystem and to the opprtunities brought by urbanization to strengthen the building of the ecosystem. Consequently, we should do well in the following three aspects: initiating the project of "People Withdraw and Forest Advances" and "Returning Resident Areas to Forestry"; constructing a favorable cycle of the materials arid energy between urban and rural areas; accelerating the construction of' the urban ecosystem.
