The Paradox on Service Economy in China and the Strategic Choice for China to Promote Service Economy

Service economy is the general trend of development,transformation and upgrading of the world economy,but a paradox exists in China: the proportion of service industry in GDP is low and is far from being the dominant industry in national economy.Besides the statistical reason,serious interior supply of producer service in China,deficiency in exteriorization and specialization are the important reasons.The economic development stage and industry structure determine that the strategic main point of service economy can only be producer service.Considering service industry's obvious trait of experience goods and its sensitivity to system,China needs to promote the exteriorization and specialization of producer service from the aspects of market system and environment construction;at the same time,China should base herself on a big manufacturing nation and quicken the developing process of service economy through the interactive development of producer service and manufacturing industry.
