Study on the settling velocity of the coal particles in the water medium fluidized separator

The principle of the water medium fluidized separator(WMFS)was introduced,and the settling velocity of the particles was studied in the WMFS by using sample from JiXi,the effect of the coal particle's density(1.3,1.3~1.4,1.4~1.5,1.5~1.6,1.6~1.8,1.8g/cm3),granularity(3~2,2~1,1~0.25mm)and shape coefficient on the settling velocity were discussed,finally three correlative mathematical models were set up,which established the theoretical foundation for studying WMFS's fluidization and technological parameters.
