Clinical analysis the effect of minimally puncture-aspiration therapy for hypertension intracerbral hematomas compare with craniotomy

Objective To compare the therapy effect of minimally puncture-aspiration and craniotomy in HICH.Methods From March,1997 to February,2003,104 patients of HICH acceped the treament of puncture-aspiration. From June. 1988 to February. 1997,101 patients of HICH acceped the craniotomy. We investigated the death rate, the recovery of language(cerebral dominant hemisphere)threemonths later and limb's function.Results By therapy of puncture-aspiration 7 patients(6.7%)died, 45patients(80.3%)recovered ideal in language, 50 patients(48.1%)could provide for themselves in limb. By craniotomy 19 patients(18.1%)did, 19patients(35.1%) did and 22 patients (28.1%) could do respectively.Conclusion The former can reduce death rate and disable rate and improve the living quality of the patients.
