A Control Study of Effect of Comprehensive Psychological Intervention for Patients with Type 2 Diabetes.

Objective To assess the effect of comprehensive psychological intervention for patients with type 2 diabetes.Method 59 patients with type 2 diabetes were randomly assigned to two groups.One was intervened with routine treatment together with comprehensive psychological intervention,the other as control with routine treatment only the duration of treatment was 4 weeks.All patients were assesed by self-rating Depression (SDS) and self-rating anxiety (SAS).Blood glucose and HbA1C level were measured before and after the intervention.Result Compared with control group intervention group had less depression and less anxiety after 4 weeks,the level of blood gloucose before and after diet and Hba1C decreased more,the change of internent group have statistic significanle.Conclusion Comprehensive psychological intervention can improve clinical out come,depression and Anxiety of patients with type 2 diabetes.
