The Relationship between Child Left-home Experience,Social Support,Coping Style and Subjective Well-being of College Students

Objective To explore the relationship between child left-home,coping style,social support and subjective well-being of college students.Methods 220 college students left-home in childhood and 239 non-left-home experience college students of four Universities in Wuhan were selected as the subjects;they were tested with Perceived social support scale(PSSS),Characteristic Coping Style Questionnaire(CCS)and subjective Well-being Questionnaire.Results Compare with other college students,the subjective well-being of college students left home in childhood is lower(P0.001);Family support,positive and negative coping have an effect on subjective well-being of college students left home in childhood.Conclusion College students left home in childhood have poorer subjective well-being.Their positive coping styles should be guided to improve social support.Mental health education and counseling should be strengthened for college students left home in childhood.
