Multinomial Logistic Regression Analysis on the Mental Health Status of Patients with Diabetes Mellitus

Objective To explore the influential factors about mental health status of patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods 2132 people were investigated by questionnaire about demography,emotional disorder and social support,which involved 139 patients with diabetes mellitus in Shanxi Province.Results The level of anxiety and social support in family on patients is higher than non-patients in univariate.There are several factors influence mental health status of patients with diabetes mellitus by multinomial Logistic Regression Analysis,such as endemic,gender,age,economic income,anxiety,depression et al.Conclusion The influential factors about mental health status of patients with diabetes mellitus not only involved endemic,gender,age,economic income et al,but also involved emotional disorder and social support et al.The study offered foundation for clinical psychotherapy according to the different influential factors.
