Geological features and ore genesis of Dadongnancha gold-copper deposit in eastern Hunchun

Eastern Hunchun area is important gold-copper ore mineralized concentrate area of NE China, and contains a few gold-copper deposits, including Xiaoxinancha, Nongping and Dadongnancha. This paper discussed the ore genesis of Dadongnancha gold-copper deposit, on the basis of studying the regional geology setting and its geological characteristics. The Dadongnancha gold-copper deposit is controlled by the NW, NE and nearly SN trending faults and anticline structure of Dongnancha. The gold-copper ore bodies occur as quartz-veins, metal sulphide veins and stockwork, and are hosted with the late Hercynian Wudaogou Group, late Hercynian quartz diorite and tonalite, and the Late Yanshanian rhyolite porphyry and diorite porphyry or at their contact zones. The Dadongnancha deposit is similar to the Xiaoxinancha deposit in terms of ore deposit geological features and ore-forming geological conditions. Therefore, this paper deduced that the Dadongnancha deposit is porphyry gold-copper deposit, which was controlled by the oblique subduction of Paleo-Pacific Plate beneath the East Asian continent.
