Determination and RAPD Analysis of Physiological Strain of Erysiphe graminis in Northeasten Spring Wheat Area of China

The physiological strains of Erysiphe graminis were determined in 1999~2000 and the changes of strain groups were analyzed. Differences were found among 8 strains from RAPD analysis. Out of 23 random primers, 11 were polymorphic. Altogether 59 RAPD bands were found and the polymorphic rate was 47.5%. Genetic relationships among the 8 strains and their correlation to the virulence of the strains were studied through cluster analysis on the RAPD bands.
