The study for the flip bucket style optimization test in Longkaikou hydropower station

Longkaikou hydropower station has the main characteristics of the riverbed narrow and discharge large,for this type of project energy dissipation is particularly important.In order to solve the hydraulic model tests in the first phase of the trajectory not fully eliminate,the flow of outlet close to the pier disorder,a spillway section of the single hydraulic model tests in the spillway section was carried out,as well as the washed out test such as run ridge,differential ridge,narrow slot ridge,and the tongue-shaped ridge,the combination of the use of flip buckets and others,so after analysis and comparing the overflow flip bucket is chose and applied in Longkaikou hydropower station.
