The Measurement of Cutting Temperature by Equivalent Thermocouple Methods

In this paper, the calculation formula deduced by the equivalent thermocouple method is presented for compe nsating the cooling end temperature in the measurement of cutting temperature. T he vali dity and precision of this method were proved by experiment, at the same time, a measurement was carried out for the changing rule of the cutting temperature while cutting quench bearing steels with PCBN cutters by this method.
