Simulation Research of Ball Spinning of Tubular Parts with Inner Rib

The ball spinning of tubular parts with longitudinal inner rib was numerically simulated bv the finite clement software ABAQUS.The state of stress in the deformation zone and the law of plastic flow of the metal in the deformation were studied.The influences of thickness reduction rate,leed rate and the workpiece thickness on forming quality were analyzed.Finally,the device and mould were designed and manufactured according to the results of numerical simulation.The spinning sample with proper inner rib was successfully made.
