A Review on the Development of Titanium Powder Forging Technology

As one of an near net shape technology,titanium powder forging technology combined with powder metallurgy and precise forging has broad application prospects in obtaining fully dense,high-performance titanium powder components. This article describes the application of titanium powder forging technology in the improvement of the microstructure and performance of titanium powder alloy,high-performance low-cost titanium powder alloy,medical titanium alloy,intermetallic compound,titanium matrix composites etc.,and simultaneously analyzes the technical development of titanium powder forging technology on the application of titanium powder alloy.
