Research on Simulation for Fault Diagnosis of Marine Diesel Engine in MATLAB Environment

The method of fault diagnosis for marine diesel engine,which is an artificial neural network model based on radial basis function(RBF)has been presented.And its sample sets of the symptoms and troubles have been designed.Simultaneously,by using a practical neural network toolbox in MATLAB environment the simulating calculation for fault diagnosis of marine low speed heavy duty diesel engine has been made.Then an application example of the turbo charging subsystem is given to show its feasibility.
