A registration method for multi-spectral image and panchromatic image based on wavelet transformation

A quick,accurate and adaptive image registration method applied to large rotation angle for multi-spectral image and panchromatic image is presented.It extracts the corner points of two images based on wavelet transformation firstly.Then the maximum of correlation coefficient with the estimation of rotation angle based on region and triangle similarity is developed.Finally,the iterative algorithm is used to get the optimal registration parameters.Experiment results show that the method can register multi-spectral image and panchromatic image effectively and accurately.
