Clinical Observation of Treating Intracerebral Hemorrhage of Basal Ganglion with Minimally Invasive Surgery

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of minimally invasive surgery (MIS) in the treatment of intracerebral hemorrhage of basal ganglion (IHBG). Methods:198 patients with over 30ml of IHBG were divided into MIS-treated group (n=98 )and medical conservative treatment group (n=100).The curative effects were compared between two groups.Results:The total effective rate of MIS group was 80.61%,whereas, that of medical conservative treatment group was 42%.The difference was significant (P0.01).The mortality rate in MIS group was 11.22%,which markedly less than 41% in medical treatment group.The living conditions in these patient with different treatment in two groups had significant difference within 6 months follow up(P0.05).Conclusion:MIS can be performed on patients with IHBG and obviously improve these patients’ prognosis
