The medial and lateral thoracic nerves and musculocutaneous nerve were dissected on 36 sides of adult cadavers(male 18 and female18). The length of the main stems of the medial and lateral thoracic nerves (42.81 4.18mm and 40.55 3.12mm) and musculocutaneous nerve (43.87 3.41mm) were measured respectively. The length of the three branches of the medial thoracic nerve(30.69mm, 41.77mm and 48.0mm) and the lateral thoracic nerve(35.97mm, 49.57mm and 51.05mm) were also gaued. The length from the origin of the musculocutaneous nerve to that of the medial and lateral thoracic nerves are 43,l4 3.81mm and 50.57 + 3.71mm respectively.
