Research of Protective Coating to the Titanium Alloy Blade

WU Xiao-mei,LI Wei-guang,LU Feng Beijing Institute of Aeronautical Material,Beijing 100095,China  
ZrN and NiCrAlY coating was deposited on Titanium alloy substrate by multi-arc plating.The coating preparation technology for Titanium alloy was studied used compressor blades of advanced aero-engine.It was found that ZrN coating demonstrates marked improvement in erosion resistance performance of TC11 Titanium alloy;diffusion-barrier /NiCrAlY coatings demonstrates efficient improvement in oxidation resistance performance of high temperature Titanium alloy.
