A Navigation System for the Mobile Robot Based on Multi- Senor Information Fusion

The principle of multi - sensor information fusion is introduced.The architecture of the mobile robot’s navigation system based on multi- sensor information fusion is proposed.A mathematic model for the mobile robot is built up.The navigation algorithm based on Extended Kalman filter theory is carried out. The validity of the navigation system and the algorithm is testified.
