Advances on Crop Water Content Diagnosis Based on Spectral Reflectance

Real-time monitoring and rapid diagnosis of crop moisture content based on spectral reflectance is one of the hot problems for the application of remote sensing technology in agriculture.Based on large quantity of literature from 1970s to 2004,this paper analyzes and evaluates the advances on diagnosis method of crop moisture content using the spectral reflectance of crops,and summarizes the main research progress in diagnosis of crop moisture content condition from the spectral reflectance.The problems of studies in this field are also pointed out.Furthermore,the trend of research and development in the future is prospected.
