MMS Integrated Communication System Based on ARCnet/Ethernet

In the course of the industrialization of CIMS, manufacturing message specification(MMS) becomes one of the keys to the integration of CIMS networks. In this paper, we study the transition of network architecture from MAP / TOP to ARCnet / Ethernet. After the analysis of MMS, an implementation strategy of MMS integrated communication system based on ARCnet / Ethernet is presented.
