Numerical simulation of coupled creep elastoplastic damage constitutive model at large strain

A numerical model to simulate isotropic, coupled creep elastoplastic damage constitutive behavior at finite strain is proposed in the present work. The model is developed on the basis of thermodynamics of an irreversible process and the internal state variable theory. A hyperelastic form of stress strain constitutive relation in conjunction with the multiplicative decomposition of the deformation gradient into elastic and inelastic parts is utilized. A consistent integration algorithm to update stresses and the internal state variables is derived. A consistent tangent matrix with consideration of the fully coupled effects at finite strain is formulated.
