Function Comparison of Three Current Graphic Simulation Softwares

The functions of three current graphic simulation softwares such as OpenGL,DirectX and OpenGVS that mainly applied in PC are discussed.Then,this paper shows respectively the advantages,shortcomings and applying fields of these softwares.Finally,it presents an advice of how to select the computer graphic simulation software based on the application status and conditions.If developing game or multimedia software,you should use DirectX;if you want to make visualization simulation,you should apply OpenGVS which is easier than OpenGL;however,if you want to get higher precision,you had better to use OpenGL and you also can synthetically apply OpenGVS,OpenGL and DirectX to get the reality,visualization and real-time effect.
