Research on Simulation Training System Based on Virtools and HLA

To solve the problems of simulation training system such as large amount of work, lower development efficiency and lower quality, etc, after comparing and analyzing several kinds of design methods about simulation training system, a design method for simulation training system based on Virtools and HLA is put forward. Then four kinds of related models namely the system architecture, equipment appearance, man-machine interaction and battlefield environment are described. After accomplishing the whole design architecture, three key technologies: dynamic loading, collision detection and model physicalizing are researched. In the end, a demonstration system for a kind of SPAAG based on this method is designed. The result illustrates its high quality in real time and the fidelity.
