Blast-resistant Simulation Analysis of Protective Metal Crust under Impact Load

In order to reduce the distortion of the structure under impact load,and improve the anti-blasting ability,it has currently become the focus in explosion security field to design multilayer composite structure using multihole material or light material.The Finite Element Analysis(FEA) is the main method for blast experiment.Up to now,the black box can not bear the limit condition of explosive impact.The paper puts forward a composite structure with flexible material layer.ABAQUS,a general-purpose FEA program,is chosen to emulate the dynamic response of the protective structure under blasting stress.ABAQUS/Explicit is invoked to carry out numerical simulation.The results show that the composite structure with flexible material layer can protect the core of the black box better from the blast,which may be advisory in the design of the black box shell.
