A Method for Quick Modeling of Virtual Scene

In view of the difficulties of building virtual scene using VRML language,this paper presents a method for quick modeling of virtual scene.It can solve the problems of data sources and composition of the scene by drawing graphic units on the scene plan,further more,it takes advantages of drawing,interactive texture mapping with the thin cuboid to build the buildings,meanwhile,the roads are rapidly generated using the drawing method,and it makes use of the Terrain Trend Rise and interactive 3D terrain modification method easy to achieve the rapid realistic simulation in the absence of real terrain data,so the speed of the modeling is increased.Finally the experimental result demonstrates the feasibility of this approach,and provides a new thought for quick building of virtual scene.
